Derry Healthy Cities wish to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support the delivery of the organisations’ key aims and objectives.  This is a new and varied role where you will have the opportunity to input to a range of projects and activities which support and develop an inclusive attitude to health; advance education relating to the benefits of good health; and promote, develop and support organisations offering health care services and support.  Applicants must have a recognised relevant degree and 2 years’ paid experience of successfully managing or co-ordinating health related, capacity building, or community development project(s) at middle management level in an NGO, private or public sector body, Or five years’ experience of successfully managing and delivering health related, capacity building, or community development project(s) at middle management level in an NGO, private or public sector body.  You will have excellent facilitation, networking and organisational skills and the ability to work with a range of organisations at several levels. Knowledge of public health, health inequalities, community development, capacity building, governance, partnerships and training processes which are underpinned by training and experience will also be central to this role.  

This post is for 25 hours per week for a 12 month period.
