Being responsible for our service delivery and developing new services is a vital part of our work. As a Children’s Services Manager with responsibility for Business Development you will be working as part of the NI leadership team.

How you’ll make a difference:

By providing leadership and operational management to ensure the development and growth of services to children, young people and their families

By meeting commissioners’ expectations and contractual requirements.

By developing and growing services including managing, co-ordinating and directing the production of a pipeline of bids/proposals

By promoting the highest standards of safeguarding practice

By developing professional relationships with commissioners, partners and other stakeholders to win and grow business for Action for Children

What you’ll need:

Degree in Social Work or the equivalent Social Work Qualification.

Registration on part one of the NISCC register as a qualified Social Worker.

Recognised management qualification or equivalent portfolio of Continuous Professional Development.

Line Management experience of social work-led services or teams.

Experience of complying with statutory regulations, performance management including meeting contract targets.

Experience of design, start up, growth and reshaping of services to children young people or families.

Proven experience of high value tender submissions or funding applications.
