The Childcare Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the childcare setting ensuring that there is a high quality, caring and welcoming environment which is as safe as possible for children and their families.
Main Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the day care
- Responsibility for the day-to day operations within the day care setting
- To ensure the day care meets all legal and operational requirements
- To ensure the effective delivery, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum in conjunction with the relevant staff
- To ensure the highest standard of care for children placed within the day care
- To support and supervise staff on a day-to-day basis and carry out regular staff supervisions, appraisals and back to work interviews
- The day to day coordination of the day care in terms of administration
- To ensure the day care meets its contractual agreements with funders and contractors
