POST:                              Case Work Coordinator

SALARY:                         Scale Points 24 - 28 (£21,491 - £24,425)

DEPARTMENT:               Homelessness Services

HOURS OF WORK:        35 hours per week. A flexi-time system is in operation and reasonable hours outside of this may be required to fulfil the duties of this position.

JOB PURPOSE

Coordinate a multi-agency and holistic approach to the delivery of support services to homeless people and those at risk of homelessness. Working in partnership with Housing Solutions teams in the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, this post will develop and implement case management approaches to service delivery and work with vulnerable people who have complex support needs.

ESSENTIAL SHORTLISTING CRITERIA

1. Relevant third level qualification plus at least two years’ experience within the last five years of working directly with vulnerable people in a paid capacity.

OR

Three years experience in the last five years of working directly with vulnerable people within a paid capacity.

2. Experience of the design and delivery of support to vulnerable people.

3. Experience working in partnership with other agencies.

4. Experience and knowledge of client protection principles and procedures.

5. Experience of user involvement in the planning and delivery of services.

6. Experience of working on a one to one basis.

7. Experience of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and social media applications.

8. Full valid driving licence is required so as to be able to meet the requirements of the post in full.
