Business Services Manager

Reporting to the CEO, the 'Business Services Manager' is a new role for this national representative and support organisation for community and voluntary groups in the Republic of Ireland. The postion is based in Dublin.

Due to the formal adoption by our members of our new 4-year strategy, Being the Change, The Wheel is now seeing to recruit for a new role of Business Services Manager.

Based in The Wheel’s offices in Dublin 2, the primary responsibility of the Business Services Manager is to direct, lead and support a diverse range of business development, communications, finance and admin services to support the three new business units that are being established to implement the new strategy.

The successful applicant will have at least five years experience in a management role with staff reports; extensive experience of leading and managing projects; a track record in implementing marketing and communications projects and experience at delivering  ‘corporate services’ to internal work-place clients/units.

The successful applicant will be highly organised in thinking and doing; a great communicator orally and in writing; and a ‘systems thinker’ - finding solutions to the problems that haven’t happened yet! In addition, they will have excellent ‘soft’ negotiation skills in every-day situations and an outstanding attention to detail, accompanied by the ability to be a ‘completer/finisher’.
