Following the expansion of our Financial Capability team, we are looking for an advisor to join our experienced team providing advice and assistance to eligible individuals across England, Wales and Northern Ireland who are experiencing financial difficulties. This is a community-based role providing face-to-face advice from the Legion's Pop In Centres, at outreach locations and in clients' homes.

The ideal candidate will have recent, significant experience of managing a caseload of clients requiring specialist benefits and / or money advice, providing advice, advocacy and representation to individuals with debt and benefits issues.

We would like to invite applications from individuals who have either recent debt or specialist benefits experience for the Level 1 position (training will be provided on the other element) or experience in both areas for the level 2 position.

We are seeking a motivated self-starter, who is able to work, unsupervised and enjoys a challenge.

You will be based in our Belfast office with regular attendance at satellite locations.  You will be required to travel regularly for meetings, carrying out appointments and attending training. A company car may be provided, depending on circumstances.
