Apprenticeship NI: Employer and Student Support Officer

To identify development opportunities and deliver apprenticeship schemes ensuring they meet the needs of the organisation, employers and those participating in them now and for the future.
To support trainees to overcome issues which prevent them from entering the labour market, further education or apprenticeship programmes via a person-centred, flexible approach of mentoring, training and employment support.
JOB PURPOSE
To establish and develop ACT products, services and long term sustainable relationships with local employers, stakeholders and clients. To ensure activities generate skills development opportunities for employers and clients, support job progression and facilitate the attainment of vocational qualifications.
To recruit for and manage the trainee journey, planning and executing interventions and supporting the move of trainees. To achieve individual and team targets related to employer and trainee engagement, delivery and achievements of qualifications identified in the Apprenticeship training programme and job entry. To deliver excellent customer service and comply with internal processes to ensure minimum contractual standards of service are met.
To develop and maintain links with Apprenticeship learners to ensure they remain on programme and achieve their apprenticeship framework.
