Advocacy & Campaigns Coordinator (6 month contract)

The main purpose of the role will be to work with Women’s Aid Groups and Service Users to coordinate our advocacy and campaigning work designed to raise awareness of issues facing women and children and the need for specialised support services.  The role will have focus on funding, raising awareness and Public relations.  It will involve consultation with service users, engagement with Women’s Aid organisations across Northern Ireland and development of an Advocacy strategy that encompasses our current priorities of risk managing, development of action plans, public campaign, lobbying, monitoring and evaluation.

The contract period will commence in September 2017.

Approximate timeframe Sept 2017 - March 2018 (16 hours pw x 26 weeks)
