Explored from a Psychodynamic Perspective this workshop will focus on the nature of co-dependency and the dysfunctional helping relationship of “enabling”, the individual’s loss of identity and the co-dependant’s insatiable need for approval from others
There is great confusion around the term Co-Dependent/Co-Dependency/Dependant which has led to misunderstanding this complex and destructive psychological condition. Taught from a Psychodynamic Perspective, The workshop will explore this condition from its origins to its most complex presentation as a Dependant Personality Disorder.
The workshop is taught in small class style to enable interaction between trainee and students. This workshop is suitable for qualified counsellors, trainee counsellors. education and health professionals and interested members of the public.
