Living with a long term health condition like asthma, COPD, angina, stroke, arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes or chronic pain can present many challenges. Learning how to meet these challenges can be a process.

Living with a long term health condition like asthma, COPD, angina, stroke, arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes or chronic pain can present many challenges. Learning how to meet these challenges can be a process. The NI Chest, Heart & Stroke “Taking Control” Self Management Programme is a structured group workshop once a week for 2.5 hours, over six weeks. The programme covers managing your symptoms, working with healthcare professionals, dealing with difficult emotions, healthy eating and physical activity.

 In partnership with the Southern Health and Social Services Trust, NI Chest, Heart & Stroke, is running a Programme in ARMAGH for people living with long term health conditions.

CATHEDRAL RD LEISURE CENTRE. Commences on WEDNESDAY 22nd FEBRUARY and continues each WEDNESDAY for six weeks until 28th MARCH  from 10.30am – 1pm
