Running a charitable company
NICVA
This session will outline the administration requirements for organisations which are registered both as charities and as companies who must comply with both charity and company law.
It will examine the reporting requirements to both Companies House and the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland including the new PSC register for companies and the annual monitoring return for charities as well as outlining the rules around all of the registers which companies must keep.
The session will also look at the duties of directors and consider the role of the board of a charitable company and outline key aspects of the articles of association.
This session will be of particular interest to the company secretary of a charitable company or anyone carrying out the company secretary function.
The session takes place on Thursday, 20 October from 10am to 1pm in NICVA.
