What is the future for politics is Northern Ireland? Is there a way to move on from voting based on communal identity? Can we create a political environment of dynamic ideas and comprehensive debate?

This year we are holding an event ‘From politics of identity to politics of ideas’ on Monday 26March from 7.30pm. The event will take the shape of a panel discussion in Black Box, Hill Street, Belfast. The discussion will focus on visions of the future of politics in Northern Ireland. The panel will be chaired by Julia Paul of the BBC, and will consist of a number of civic-society and political leaders:

-Kellie Turtle (Belfast Feminist Network)

-Tony McMullan (Vice-Chair of the Co-operative Party)

-Eamonn Deane (Holywell Trust)
