PIPS Preventing Suicides in your Community

Through the Aspire Programme PIPS will be delivering

 ‘Preventing Suicides  to Parents of young school children.

You will learn skills to:

♦Identify someone at risk of suicide

♦Communicate safely with someone at risk

♦Link someone at risk of suicide into the help they need.

♦Strengthen your own emotional health

While learning skills to save a life you will also get to:

♦Have time out to mingle with other parents

♦Enjoy a relaxing cup of tea and a snack

♦Share your worries or concerns around the issue of mental health

♦Gain an OCN Level II accreditation (Optional)

This programme will take place in Currie PS on Monday mornings and will run for 5 weeks. The

programme begins on Monday 27th February 9.30am-11am. Creche facilities are available if parents need younger children minded- just let us know how many places you need.
