Open Government for the Common Good

This event has been organised by the Northern Ireland Open Government Network and will engage a broad spectrum of citizens in topical discussion and stimulating debate around making government more open, transparent and participative.
If you are frustrated about the way Northern Ireland is governed and would like to see more transparency and accountability from government, this is the event for you.
The event will explore some of the key issues under the open government umbrella. There will be a panel discussion, workshops and lightning talks from experts in open data, access to information, anti-corruption, public accountability and civic participation.
A key note address will be provided by Dr Michael Harris, founder of the influential Guerrilla Policy blog and the Guerrilla Wire website.
This is a free event that is open to the public. It is part of the Building Change Trust’s Civic Activism series.
