NICVA/ NIPHRN Public Health Research Event

Cost:
Free
NICVA and the Northern Ireland Public Health Research Network (NIPHRN) would like to invite organisations with an interest in public health research to attend our half day research event

Public health is very broad. As well as focussing on lifestyle and behaviours related to physical activity and nutrition, it also includes the social determinants of health such as education, environment and health service delivery.

NICVA and NIPHRN would like to support voluntary and community organisations in Northern Ireland to work with colleagues in the academic and statutory sectors to develop research proposals which are focussed on questions suggested by you.

Why should you attend the research event?

  • To learn how we can support you develop a research idea
  • To hear about the experiences of other third sector organisations involved with NIPHRN
  • To find out about funding opportunities

The event will run from 10-2pm and lunch will be provided.
