What is the Course?

Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training ( EAT )

This Qualification replaces CTLLS

As a Training Organisation, The Training and Recruitment House is accredited by TQUK / HABC /CIEH / IOSH. This Course leads to sertification in the level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.

What can I do ones I complete the Course?

This qualification is suitable for individuals who want a qualification that focuses on practical teaching, and prefer a wide choise of optical units. Learners may already  be teaching and wish to have their experiace and practice accredited or not presently teaching but capable of meeting the minimum teaching practice requirement of 30 hours.

How long does the Cours take?

The Course takes around 360 hours in total.

This face to face programme has been designed to alow you to study and work at the same time. There are 12 sessions in total including an induction. All classrooms sessions ar taking place from 9 am to 4.30 pm

Where is the Course held?

This Course is held in our premises in Portadown.

Is there a test on the end of the Course? What is the pass rate?

This Course is assessed by the Trainer throughout the training time. You will complete a range of assigment based tasks as well as plan for, deliver and review a Teaching seassions.

How is the Course delivered? What will I learn?

The Course is very interactive and you will be supplied with all materials.

There are mandatory units which must be completed to generate the first 21 credits (210 hours) :

  • Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
  • Planning to meet the need of learners in education and training
  • Delivering education and training
  • Assessing learners in education and training
  • Using recourses of education and taining.

A further 15 credits  are gained from optional units (150 hours) . Unit 30 entitled "Teaching in a Specialist area"

This Course is for anyone who wishes to teach other.
