What is a leader? What are the key skills to being an effective leader? How important is good leadership in volunteering?

Dealing with conflict is an essential skill for a range of volunteer roles from youth club leaders, children’s workshop facilitators to charity shop volunteers.

This interactive session explores different leadership styles and their impact, example scenarios and top tips in leading a team or group of people.  It explores the skills leaders need, especially in dealing with challenges facing volunteer involving organisations.  We will also use case studies and role plays to explore the basic principles behind conflict management and provide top tips for dealing with conflict.

A Certificate of Attendance is awarded at the end of this session.

Time:  10.00am - 4.00pm
