The NI Central Investment Fund for Charities is a fund administered by the Department for Social Development and is an investment option for charities in NI.

The Fund aims to provide Trustees the opportunity to invest all or part of their assets in a supervised and professionally managed fund.  The fund is managed by the Department through recognised fund managers, but its investment policy is guided by a locally based Advisory Committee, appointed by the Department.  The Department carries out all day to day administrative responsibilities at no charge and the Advisory Committee receive no remuneration.  The fund managers charge a highly competitive management fee.

Representatives from the Advisory Committee and the Department will be attending and there will be presentations from Newton Investment Management Ltd and Ashton Community Trust, -  a recent investor in the Fund.
