Introduction to Intercultural Youth Work

Youth Link are facilitating an introductory workshop that will explore interculturalism and what this looks like, in practice, within youth work settings.

• Do you work or volunteer in a youth work setting?
• Are you interested in reaching out and engaging with people from diverse communities?

Using a blend of youth work and creative approaches the session will explore core aspects of the Intercultural Guidelines recently developed by Youth link, and will aim to:

• Provide the space for youth workers, volunteers and others who work with young people, to consider diversity and think about how we engage with others 
• Increase understanding of what intercultural youth work means in practice; and 
• Provide the opportunity to meet, share and learn from others. 

The workshop will take place from 10am - 1.30pm in Coleraine on Tuesday 17th January 2017.
