Guide Dog Week Belfast Street Collection

Guide Dogs Northern Ireland

Cost: 0

Guide Dogs are urgently seeking volunteers to help with a street collection and awareness day in Belfast city centre on Thursday 9th October during Guide Dog Week.

Be part of something amazing.

Guide Dogs changes lives. We're constantly working towards our vision of a world in which people who are blind or partially sighted can enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else.

We're well known for our world class guide dog service, with around 105 guide dog partnerships in Northern Ireland. But did you know what we also deliver a range of life changing services such as My Guide and buddy dogs to people across Northern Ireland? We also have children's mobility services to provide life changing support to children and their families. Our talking buses, streets ahead and dog attacks campaigns are some of the ways we work tirelessly to break down barriers.

Donate an hour or two of your time to support Guide Dogs this Guide Dog Week. We need people throughout the day from 10am - 5pm in Corn Market in Belfast. You do not have to be a volunteer to support us, but can chat to us about opportunities in your local area.

Please contact Rebecca Harper on 0845 372 7402 for more information.

If you can't attend the street collection, see what you can do to get involved at http://www.guidedogs.org.uk/microsites/guide-dogs-week/
