Free Training Event - Delivering Everyday First Aid to Young People Workshop
British Red Cross
The Red Cross believes first aid is a life skill that everyone can and should learn. We want children and young people to have the opportunity to learn the skills and gain the confidence to save lives.
Background information
The Red Cross believes first aid is a life skill that everyone can and should learn. We want children and young people to have the opportunity to learn the skills and gain the confidence to save lives.
We have developed a simple way of delivering first aid education which is easy to remember called Every Day First Aid. Not only is it easy to learn but it is also easy to deliver as an educator.
Would you like to deliver simple first aid workshops to young people?
The workshop is designed to give participants the skills and knowledge needed to be able to deliver their own Everyday first aid workshops to young people.
No previous first aid knowledge is needed and no first aid kits are used. Instead we will look at the use of everyday objects and materials. Learning can take place anywhere from schools, youth clubs, sports clubs are even just over a cup of tea/coffee.
We will be running a workshop on Saturday 24th November 2012 10am – 3pm for both teachers and youth workers. Places are limited, book your place promptly to avoid disappointment.
