Free and Low Cost Technology Event

NICVA

NICVA

Cost: Free

The pressure is on for your organisation to move with the technological times and not let ageing servers and systems be your weak point. If you are an eligible non-profit, enterprise level systems and services are finally within reach and budget.

The demand for technological growth at minimal cost is paramount.

There is a constant need to have new or upgraded computer systems and services in the workplace, but keeping up with increasing demand is getting even tougher with decreasing budgets. Recently there has been an increase in the range of new technologies available to [eligible] non-profits in the form of big software brand names for free or low cost.

We understand the complexities involved in researching how to avail of these offers, and the many questions that come along with making the leap to any new service.

To bring some clarity to the subject, we have invited representatives from some of the biggest names in software, social media and non-profit technology to come along and talk about what is available right now for free or minimal cost to the community and voluntary sector in Northern Ireland.

This event will give you the opportunity to see for yourself the benefits of using Microsoft Office 365, see what the Google non-profit programme is all about, what software and hardware donations are available and upcoming from CTX (Charity Technology Trust Exchange), how a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system can improve your organisation's productivity and effectiveness  and to put your questions to the experts. By the end of the session we hope that you will be fully aware of the value that these services can add to your organisation and its efficiency.

We will also have some input from Amy Sample Ward, CEO of NTEN (US Non-Profit Technology Network) on how low cost technology is improving charitable organisations in the US and what impact non-profit programmes from large multi-national corporations have made and continue to make.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
