Evidence Exchange across the UK: What is Good Evidence?

Alliance for Useful Evidence

Alliance for Useful Evidence

Cost: Free

The Evidence Exchange project at the Alliance for Useful Evidence (Nesta) is hosting a webinar on the use of formal standards of evidence to effect change. The event will last for one hour and is free.

This webinar will provide an overview of standards of evidence and discuss what we can learn from differing approaches to using evidence across the UK.   We are delighted to be joined by speakers who will give their experience of using evidence standards, particularly within the third sector.

Stephen Bediako will present on the use of evidence standards in Project Oracle, Aongus O'Keeffe on Inspiring Impact in Northern Ireland and Steven Marwick, Director of Evaluation Support Scotland, will present on building the capacity of third sector organisations to engage with evidence.

The speakers will address questions such as how to generate buy-in from stakeholders including small charities and voluntary organisations and how we can experiment and innovate while still maintaining quality and buy-in from decision-makers.

The webinar is for charities and third sector organisations; charity evaluators, consultants; analysts; commissioners and providers of public and charitable services seeking to understand the greater evidence of impact.
