Echo Echo Dance Theatre Company has a fresh and funky Dance summer scheme for children in July. Starting on Monday 2nd to Friday 6th July, the professional dance company welcomes ages 5-12 to their dance studio in Derry for one week
This year the creative classes will have a hip hop edge, mixing authentic music and moves from this style with Echo Echo’s usual movement games and sequences.
The Echo Echo dancers ensure the classes are fun and an opportunity for children to express themselves through movement. They will teach the kids choreography as well as encourage their imaginations to improvise and create.
The summer scheme is open to boys and girls of all abilities and there is no need for any previous dance experience. The children will show off what they learned in a short performance on the last day for family and friends.
The 5-7 year group is from 10am to 11am each morning and costs £20 for the full week. The 8-12 year group starts at 11.30am and runs until 1pm costing £30.
