Data Workshop on Mental Health

NICVA

NICVA

Cost: Free

NICVA and ADRC-NI are partnering to run a series of sessions with the second focusing on mental health.

The Detail Data team will present the findings from its recent report into suicides in Northern Ireland - Suicide deaths in Northern Ireland highest on record as well as a report from The Detail on self harm.

Academic researchers with the ADRC-NI will be on hand to examine the potential of the data sets accessible through the ADRC-NI to answer quantitative research questions on mental health, and help VCSE researchers better understand how the available data could be used to develop a quantitative research project that would enhance their existing work and expertise. They will also be able to talk about their ongoing research in the area, including research on the mental health of migrants and mapping mental health and suicide across Northern Ireland, and where there might be opportunities for partnership working with the VCSE sector.

The event takes place on Thursday, 11 May from 9.30am to 12noon at NICVA, Belfast.

The session is open to all those who have an interest in using data to support their research and policy work.
