CMI Level 3 Award Project Management

Who is this qualification for?

The Award in Project management is designed to meet the needs of managers responsible for projects, who wish to extend their skills and knowledge to embrace further project management disciplines. It is expected that learners will already be working in a Project Management environment, although the qualification is also open to learners wishing to build on their general management skills.

Award

To achieve a CMI Level 3 Award in Project Management, you need to successfully complete one unit to a minimum of 6 credits.  You must complete 1 Day intensive classroom based learning. 

All learners will be provided with access to CMI Management Direct online learning materials to support learning objectives and it is suggested that you complete course recommended reading to build on the classroom learning. 

Learning outcomes:-

• Understand the nature and context of projects

• Understand the management of stakeholders including the project team roles and responsibilities

• Understand the planning and control of projects

How is this qualification assessed?

Learners will be required to complete a written assignment within 3 weeks of the training date.

Progression Pathway

This qualification provides an opportunity for progression for other qualifications at the same or higher levels, which could also be work-based or more academically structured. The qualification also supports learners in meeting the requirements for work and/or employment within all areas of management and leadership at this level.

This course has been registered by CITB NI for grant assistance to registered in scope employers.

The accredited course fee is £395 and the non-accredited option is £295.  All prices subject to VAT.
