Canoe Lough Erne for Meningitis Research Foundation

This beautiful and scenic paddle will begin on Saturday 4th August at 11am where our MRF group of explorers will gather at Smith Strand to meet their friendly instructors and pack their gear before heading off on their 28km journey.

You will explore meandering rivers, sheltered bays and islands full of wild life and bird life.  A night under canvas will give you the opportunity to join many locals at the Carry Bridge hotel for stories and laughter or perhaps a night paddle aided by the light of the moon may appeal.

Sunday morning will see you set off for the historic town of Enniskillen with plenty of beautiful linch spots on the way!

This is a wonderful trip, suitable for young and old alike!  Don't forget your camera!

To take part in this event you require a minimum sponsorship of £150 which will need to be raised prior to the event.  Please note:  This will include 1 night camping, all specialist equipment, catering and a canoe guide.  Children aged 8 years+ can take part as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
