Action on Hearing Loss Hazelbank 5 mile run and Santa Fun Run

We are hosting a 5 mile run or walk along the Shore Path with views over Belfast Lough, towards Hazelbank Park in Newtownabbey and back. 

The 1 mile fun run is just ½ a mile out and back both runs will be fully marshalled and marked out.

The route of the event is  flat, so is a great race for beginners and those who want to improve their time.

The 5 mile event will be timed by Champion Chip Ireland.

There will be prizes for winners in each category and other festive treats for all participants at the finish, Portside Inn. There will also be a special visit from Santa and presents for all finishers.  The Portside Inn have arranged a special winter warmer deal for participants and their families of £3 for soup and a sandwich.

Registration will be at the Portside Inn: 1 Dargan Road, Belfast, BT3 9JU.where there is ample parking and toilets.  Registration can be done online or on the day from 9.45am (surcharge for on the day registrations).

Everyone is encouraged to wear something Christmassy but understandably many will be in club vests.  Still, maybe even a bit of tinsel to get in the Christmas spirit ;-)
